It's cool to see the prices... Expensive forsure but not unobtainable. At least you can't say they cost more than a house when you live in CO

Maybe one day

Neat thing is the museum these are in which is a Harley dealership is free to tour. We spent nothing. They also have all kinds of animals and tons of motorcycles that I know nothing about.

All the prices shown prove that we think our cars are worth twice what they actually are.

Sadly, this trickles all the way down to 4-door Plymouth Valiants and Nissan Sentras, and the like. I cannot believe the prices people are asking for crap-cars, these days. What was once a $500 beater is now suddenly worth $2,000? I don't think so! 😠

Now having said that, this morning, I was on the receiving end of this lunacy. A bit over two years ago, I basically stole a 2000 S10 Blazer 2-door, 2WD. One owner vehicle with 71,000 miles on it. I paid $1,000 for it, replaced the shocks and tires, and put 12,000 more miles on it. This morning, I sold it to a guy who's been after me to sell it to him for two months. He handed me $6,200 for it. Truth be told, I would have probably taken $3,500-$4,000 for it, but he was so hot to have this thing that at one point, he offered me $7,000 for it. I wanted him to feel like he got a good deal (by his way of thinking), so I eventually dropped the price $800, thereby coming to the final selling price of $6,200. So, WTH? Yes, it was an exceptionally clean vehicle (absolutely perfect interior), but who in their right mind would spend that kind of coin on something as mundane as an S10 Blazer? Well, I guess Bill would. Anyway, he's happy as a lark, and I'm back to driving my diesel Dodge with 420,000 miles on it. Hell, maybe my old Dodge is now a $10,000 truck! 🤣
