On July 24k I ordered a bumper from 4wp.com for my TJ. A "Poison Spyder" bumper and their website said "In Stock" ready to ship. I ordered it, gave them my credit card info, they took my money immediately, and as of today, Aug 27 I haven't received my bumper. I call their customer "no service" number, was on hold for 45 minutes, finally a lady ans the phone, told me she had no information on my order yet, call back in a week. I called back in a week, on hold another 45 minutes, same lady ans the phone, this time she said my bumper was "in transit" from one warehouse to another, call back in a week. I called back in another week, this time I'm on hold for an hour and a half, I go from msg "there are 10 calls ahead of you to "there are 0 calls ahead of you" and this time no one ans the phone for another 15 minutes, then a guy picks up the phone, has no clue what I'm talking about and says wait a minute, puts me on hold for another 10 minutes, then tells me my bumper is in Jacksonville, and, "worse case, you should have it by the end of August" STILL NO BUMPER....4WP.COM, a Transamerica company is a dishonest and unreliable company. BUYER BEWARE.

It's not even remotely close to the end of August yet. I understand the frustration and wouldn't have ordered from them to start with, but you're raising alarms a long time before your expected delivery.

Either cancel your order or file a charge back.

When their website stated "In stock" ready to ship, I expected delivery with in a week, not a month. I also called Poison Spyder to see if I could buy direct from Ray, only to find out that Ray sold his great little company to non other then Transamerica Corp (4WP.Com).

Then cancel it. Poison spider made junk parts anyway.

When I was recently buying tires (best price) from them their site said unable to order and no availability. I was working with the local 4WP manager and he looked into it and said they had 40 in their warehouse, he had them to me in under a week.

They suck and have gotten nothing but worst over the years. Id call your credit card co and start a dispute of the charges. It may take a week or it may be sooner for them to get your hard earned money back but you really need to do this asap.

I have nothing good to say about 4 wheel parts except if they happen to have something in stock in the store when I need it it's convenient. Other than that I've had nothing but problems dealing with them.

I DO like my Poison Spyder front bumper though. I got it in 2 days from Amazon, and the price was better than 4WP's as well. As mentioned above, the Motobuilt bumpers are well liked and around the same price and a similar style as the Poison Spyder bumpers.

I ordered super 30 and 35 lockers from 4wp last year when Revolution Gear said they were hopelessly back ordered. 4wp assured me they'd have them shipped inside of two weeks.

Six months later I finally found a shop with a stash and cancelled my my order...super quick and easy.

I also talked with their gear experts...they knew their stuff and got me all my carrier bearings and seals out in a couple of days.

My wife and I drove to Montana via back roads...TJ's axle grenaded in Prineville...we switched to a recently purchased and completely unpreped JK with bald tires and stock gears. When we couldn't get tires inside of a week we drove to Post Falls...bought a winch bumper and installed it and a HF Apex winch in the parking lot. Nobody batted an eye. 4wp folks were awesome.

I think it's a store...I think it's supply chain issues. And just like any business...it all depends on the people you hire.

4WP has a huge buying power and can be very good if you know how to deal with them. Do not buy anything from them online! You will be stuck calling their Customer Service which they never answer the phone. I eventually called their phone sales and had help almost immediately. He was so helpful, I ordered my lockers and gears through him. He gave me his extension and when I had questions or something wasn't showing up on time, I called him. Clearly he must have been getting a commission.

When I would call him on a late part, he was able to check multiple warehouses across the country and get it moving. That won't happen with an online order.

Bottom line, go into a 4WP store and order it there or order from the phone sales. Order online from them and you're screwed.

When I switched the full doors out and put the half doors on the TJ this spring, I had to move the hinges from the full doors to the half doors. I decided then that I would get a set of hinges to put on the full doors before this fall and then I would not have to mess with that process again. I checked 4wp online for the prices, but had planned on going to the store which is only 30 miles from me to get them. I also checked Quadratec and their price was just over half of 4wp's, and free shipping. I ordered them from Quadratec and got them in 2 days.

I had a run-around with their online ordering when I bought tires last fall.
They were literally in a warehouse less than 30 miles from my home (and the local store), but it took a week to get them to the store.
I cannot really complain now though, as they did a great job installing the lift, and aligning it, plus they were really helpful & friendly at the store.

Polaris only just sold TAP to Wheelpros in June. I am not sure about how good that is but I am sure it will take a sizeable bit of time for them to unpack the mess that Polaris left them.
