What is your name? Order number?

Hi Mark, it's Chris, we spoke last week. You were going to work up and test another PCM and ship it this past Monday. To be clear this is not a complaint against you or your company, you have been great. I just need to get this resolved one way or another as its been going for almost a year now.

I have not had very good luck with Wranglerfix. Mark has sent 4 different units but each one spits out codes, different ones on each too. I have to pass emissions by month end, any suggestions? 2005 Wrangler Rocky Mountain Edition, runs great, 90k miles, new tires, new soft top windows, new battery. Would consider selling if Mark can't get me a PCM that works - I am in Chicago area.

Your original order was 8-24-21. You had a 2nd pcm mailed on 09-16-01.

The last shipment that I see is from is August 2 of this year.

Tell us what the original issue was? What happened with the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th pcm? Did the issues persist from September through August? I will comb through EVERY call between us respond back to this post.

Anyone have an idea what the Jeep might be worth?

Yes, you sent another PCM on August 2 and I got codes within 40 miles. We spoke last week. In my original email I sent the following from the repair shop:

SCAN COMPUTER FOR CODES. CODE PRESENT ARE AS FOLLOWS: P0031, P0037 AND P0051. TEST NECESSARY VEHICLE SYSTEMS TO FIND VEHICLE IN NEED OF PCM (POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE) REPLACEMENT.

To which you responded:

Hey Chris,

It is Pcm related without question hesitation or fail and our Pcm will resolve these issues.

You can call me at 866-888-7710 to discuss in further detail.

Best regards,

Mark Cantrell

I ordered the PCM and since then we have tried a few more times. Since we spoke last week I have been running each PCM in the Jeep to get the codes that each one is showing. I have completed running 2 of the 4 PCM's so far, here are the codes those two are showing:

PCM1: P0633, U0168, P0517
PCM2 (the one you sent August 2): P0440, P0516

I hope that helps and appreciate your support and dedication to fixing the issue!

Be cautious when dealing with Mark.

I think I know who you are.
Been over a year of this bullshit, probably more like 2 years by now and you still won’t even disclose why.

If my memory serves me correctly @5632 had an issue with skim and an engine swap? He sent his PCM in (twice) and paid by check. He told my technician he did not know what he was talking about to which my tech told him to fu@k a duck. I offered to return his check and he told me to keep it.
Anyone have an idea what the Jeep might be worth?

Chris,

As per our telephone conversation, I am overnighting you a pcm which you will have on Friday. I apologize for the delays and please let us know when you get it installed.

You’re gonna have to provide some details to get an answer to that question.

I did! 2005 Wrangler Rocky Mountain Edition, runs great, 90k miles, new tires, new soft top windows, new battery.

Why do you say that? Mark is not only colleague but also a friend. I will say that of all the people I’ve ever known in my life, Mark is easily one of the most stand-up, honest, and down-to-earth people I’ve met. On the list of people who would be likely to screw over a fellow Jeeper, Mark’s name isn’t even there.

I’d love to hear your side of the story is what I’m saying. In my opinion one should never throw out a claim like this (especially towards someone who is very esteemed in the TJ world) without at least sharing his or her side of the story.

3 years 14,600+ miles on my Wranglerfix PCM with no problems.

15k on mine with no issues... I can't add any more reports since I trans swapped it a few weeks back though.

It did show a code once, so I fixed what was wrong and carried on!

I want to thank all of you for your kind words and continued support. We have had some glitches, corrupt software, crappy chips from CHI-NA and other misc. screwups in the 3+ years of owning Wranglerfix. However, we handle issues that arise swiftly, promptly and that is what truly separates the men from the mice!

Next:

We will be exhibiting at Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion August 25-27. Come by and say hey if any of you are going to be in attendance! Perhaps @5632 can come by so i can take a selfie with him (and then steal his wallet!)

Finally, I am going to make a special code ending in @5632 for a discount on skim removal. However, that code will only apply for people that do not speak like a poppy-mouthed octogenarian whilst talking to my technician! 🦗🐈 👆🏻

Did this fuckwit have another username at some point?

@5632 You are one of a handful of people that paid me with a check and this is how I am GOING to handle your issue.

I will be at my bank tomorrow at 0900 to find out exactly how much you paid (125.00) for skim removal (twice) and you will receive a complete refund in pennies. That is 12,500.00 cents that will be delivered to your door…I will make a video and play the audio (all calls are monitored for quality assurance and training purposes) from 15 months ago when you cursed at my technician while acting like a complete imbecile or petulant child. You can decide which one fits (ewe) best. A ewe is a female sheep in case you don’t know. Like a eunuch with some fur.

This is the second time that you have tried slandering and vilifying my reputation on this forum. You can kiss my country, gravy and biscuit eating Dalton, Georgia ass with your 125.00. I would rather go out of business and eat traif morning, noon and night than take your money. Use the money to buy some Brill cream or Polident.

P.S.

I bought my LJ In Maricopa County and you make me want to return it.

Hugs and kisses,

Mark Cantrell
