Hello,

can anyone share please a real picture of the Bestop 2922835 seat covers? I see those on amazon on a deal (132 bucks) but they look to fit way to loose... and (extremely rare but) I haven't found REAL pictures of the seat covers installed in a TJ

Thanks!!

Ps. I like those because they are vynil, not neoprene and the bartact are just way to expensive... they are definitely out of the equation... thanks!

Hello,

I know is rare, but I'm not able to find in anywhere a lot of actual jeeps with the bestop seat covers on! so I would like to know and see how they fit and if you recommend those, I'm trying to stay away from neoprene but Bartact are WAY to expensive for me, no questions in their quality but still... too much money for seat covers... so the most logical second choice would be the bestop vynil seat covers, please share experience and pictures!! thanks!!!

I ran Bestop's seat cover in both of my TJs and liked it fine. It's not a tight fit and it looks really bad at first but it's ok once the wrinkles work their way out. I didn't mind the vinyl at all.

Also you can see a few examples of the jeeps with the bestop seat covers directly in the amazon reviews. I can see atleast 4 pics here, and from them, it looks like the bestop seat covers fit loose. I'd expect them to flap in the wind, or even inflate with air while on the highway with doors off and nobody sitting in them. I personally would not buy them on that fact alone.

And did you like the bestop seat covers? I know Bartact is better but.... Did the bestop were good enough??

Knowing what I know now I wouldn't buy them again. They are durable but I'm in Southern California and, in my opinion, they are terrible in hot climates/temperatures. I would only buy a Cordura cover. Bartact does make a less expensive ($275 USD) line of covers.

I found a deal of the 3 seats for 200 brand new... So.. Bartact is still way far than that... Where I live is usually not that hot so I think I'll be fine with that.. What about the fit? You like it or they are way to loose?

Pretty much is RC neoprene vs Bestop vynil seat covers... And that's because the price is under 200 for both... I'm not gonna spend more the 220 for the 3 seats... Well.. That's my intention...

I wouldn't say "way too loose" but ...

man you have been GREAT.. that's exactly what I was looking for... I think that for 200 bucks and cover the 2 fronts and the rear one... the bestop is the best choice... I know bartact is better... but is going to be almost the triple of what I'm gonna pay for this ones... thank you!!!!

The Bestop covers will look better than what's in that photo. Whoever installed them didn't pull the piece taut that fits through the gap between the seat and seat back that is used to pull the seat and seat back so both fit tighter.

 I'm no master mechanic but I can install a seat cover. It's curious that with the same basic installation process and installer, the Bartacts are well-fitting and the Bestops ... aren't. The Bestops are what they are. A less expensive, not great fitting and durable cover that is terrible in hot/humid environments.

I ran the bestop for a long time in my 06 tj and the fit was good. Pretty close to the bartac pic. Used them during the snowy months, but they were very sweaty during the hot months. To clarify, I make regular drives from Colorado to California and back, so that's were the sweaty issue came into play.

I've also had good luck with the IGGEE covers. I looked, but no pics of those two covers, sorry
