What did you do to your TJ today?

Starting work at midday today after working 2x very long days ..So relaxed a lil and ate lunch up here before I start.

After over a month (should’ve been a few days but work, family, life…) the TJ is on the road again! I did a rear end refresh: Super 35 w/ e-locker, ZJ disc conversion, rock jock rear track bar and bracket, new Genright ext tank and Bosch fuel pump, new stainless brake and Mopar fuel lines, frame strip and paint and more…

I still need to finish bumper mods/recovery point and redo tailpipe.
Also a bath. It was dirty from the frame stripping.

I picked up a pair of rusty axles for cheap. I got all the parts removed off the rear axle with hand tools and no penetrating oil or heat. No broken bolts, nothing stripped. Amazing!

Removed
-upper control arms
-lower control arms
-sway bar
-shocks
-trackbar
-brake lines

Last time I replaced control arms on my Jeep they almost all had to be cut off and took me multiple days so I'm happy.

Plan is to rebuild and pretty these up to swap under my Jeep. Same axles and gear ratios.

Welll I spoke too soon. One of the front control arm bolts is seized on me. Going to make some effort to get it removed without cutting because I want to salvage the stock fasteners if I can.

That's one fine looking Jeep from every viewpoint.

I will admit to not understanding WTF the Cobra Neck Flap thing was supposed to be doing on the drive shaft...viewing it a little later and a lot LARGER on my PC it's obvious that it isn't part the driveshaft, it's part of the parking brake system.

Thank you. That bracket and associated hardware, exhaust hangers and rear coils got sandblasted and powder coated while I was doing other things like stripping and painting the back half of the frame. So many little details before I got to the fun parts (e-locker and tank install).
