I guess I am gonna have to try a PBR again it's been 30 something years. As a kid 45+ years ago one my dad's friends drank them and put salt in it. I snuck a sip at 5-6 years old, I think that is why I love all beers to this day.

As I've said before I don't drink much anymore. Since being wounded in Iraq beer or mixed drinks just don't taste as good. But I had to get something for when I have company over. Plus I was buying my BIL a Christmas gift so I got this for the house.

Moonshine .... I was never old enough to try my Uncle's Carolina Koolaide. The only memory of my father being visibly drunk was a on a trip we took back to see family. Two shots of that 'shine had him on his ass.

I got to drink some local home brew here in WA right before I shipped out to basic training in 1978. One of my buddies uncle made & sold it.
I've had different versions of shine in VA/MD & AK & Germany.
Sojo in Korea IMO is like shine and it'll kick your ass if you ain't careful.

Been there done that

Going on Thunder Runs outside Camp Casey and drinking Jungle Juice, which has plenty of Sojo in it. I was there during Desert Storm so instead of a 12 month stay I was there for 18 months. Had a chance to experience a lot of Korea and the food & culture. Made a habit of going into Uijeongbu (Camp Red Cloud) which is where MASH was suppose to be near every few weeks to eat and learn. I was on a smaller camp about 3-4 miles from CRC called Camp Kyle. It was 210 acres of joy. Of course, we'd take the train into Seoul when we could.
