Wizard Recovery Gear

Blaine, any chance you'll bring the bracket for the license plate that goes with the ST fairlead back to the marketplace?

Ultimately my goal is to put every product I am owed a royalty on into production. If they don't want to pay, then I'll earn my royalty the hard way. So yes, I'll bring that one out as soon as we recover logistically from this current mess. I have 500 soft shackles on the way so I won't have to deal with them for awhile hopefully. We ran out of hardware for the fairleads which will be here this afternoon. Thimbles are on the way and we'll have to figure that out which is all to say the plate holder is in the works but a bit down the list right now.

Ready for the thimble and bracket for LP whenever you get to it.👌 Ordered 4 shackles and st fairlead last night. I received shipping confirmation today. Great customer service.

I ordered this morning before I left for work, had a response from a nice lady asking me for color choice before 9:00. Tracking number before I left for the evening.

Blaine, thanks for that.

Key words: Every product that he is owed royalty on.

If a certain product is selling and he is getting his royalty. He’s not putting into production. Im assuming.

That is an astute assumption but I am not currently collecting a royalty owed on any product I've designed. To date, only one company has ever fulfilled their end of the bargain.

This is to help those that don't the why or what in order to understand the genesis and logic behind WRG. I have developed, figured out, and designed lots of recovery gear for several folks over the years. We won't go into or clarify who for or why they no longer offer some of those products. What I will do though is respond to all the requests over the past couple of years about the products and how to get them by putting as many as I can back into production.

I also have another goal and promise. I am going to put the prices out there as reasonable as possible. I'm not going to do any dealer set ups so that will knock at least 15% off of the price to the customer. I will only sell direct. We will also try to configure stuff to be as economical as we can get it.

An example will be soft shackles. I was the driving force behind several of the offerings but I'm doing it somewhat differently. There will be a very limited selection of colors. I'm not into bumper jewelry and ya'll getting stuff that matches your undies. Soft shackles need to be bright colors for visibility so they are easy to spot, keep track of and find when you are through flipping your buddy's rig back over. Final cost will depend on how they are shipped but tentatively, it is looking like the best way to go will be to toss a pair minimum in a small flat rate. That should get us to a price of 29 bucks for 2 of them delivered or very close to that. The reason for a pair other than you need at least 2 of them anyway is due to how much that lowers the cost per each by halving the shipping. We'll investigate other shipping methods to see if we can do better but right now that is what we think might work.

The standard fairleads, and the ST Fairleads are on the way out of anodizing. I'm fairly disgusted with that stuff so far. My cost to do the UV black on a ST fairlead right now is about 14 bucks. That is just the anodizing. It is 10 bucks for the standard fairlead. I don't have any idea yet where we are with them but they should be out of the anodizer soon and I can finalize the pricing then.

I also have a batch of the new soft shackle friendly Safety Thimbles on the way. We're working on it with enthusiasm so hang in there.

EDIT- I notice my anodizing prices are off a bit. The initial quote they sent over failed to include the haz mat fee, pollution fee, welcome to CA fee, and did not take into account that they failed to apply my sales tax exemption even though they have my stuff on file.

You need a better lawyer.

You need a better lawyer.

Do I though? My personal view is I don't really want to be in a relationship with anyone where a lawyer is needed to force them to live up to their side of things. If we can't jot down a few notes of how we are going to do things, shake on it and have that be the way it is, then I don't want to do it.

Likely and I don't know that I mind. My options would be as follows-
Red
Bright green
Orange
Yellow
Bright blue
Dark Gray

If this comes to fruition, will you offer an option for the line with a WRG Safety Thimble installed instead of the steel tube thing? 🤞

If I do a winch line, they will likely be with the ST or not done. To clarify, we have to build the lines. They are not premade like a lot of the generic stuff you see out there.

Now a days you have to get parts when there in stock because we don’t know when the product will come back. I think that’s what happened here.

No joke. I've been holding some GM replacement parts in my Amazon wishlist for my silverado for about 2 years. Now they're all discontinued as of the last few months.
