I have to work on Sunday the 11th. Are you available the 8th and 9th? New job has me off Thursday thru Saturday.
I might be available on the 9th, but I thought the plan was Saturday the 10th?

This look like something you want to explore?

This is also known as Casner Mountian. Unfortunately, they only allow a certain amount of permits for this trail per year and it’s very limited per run. It’s always locked.

I found another cool power line trail but the trail ends in an old salvage yard and I want to be sure we can go through there without trespassing. My brother and I went through at night and the gate was open so I need to check.

The lower part is called power line and didn't require a permit. It's okay. Pretty easy, scenic. You can't do the upper part, which is casner mountain. Side by sides can go without a permit. Wtf

Ok guys I have a couple trails in mind that will probably take 2-3 hours each, I’ll catch you all up tomorrow.

Ok guys.

I have picked out two what I think will be suitable trails for everyone who wants to join.

The first one is a power line trail that also follows a wash. There are a few technical spots that I believe anyone on 31s could accomplish, so this is picked out with everyone in mind. This winds through a few of the hills in the Verde Valley that offer some cool views.

The second one is a known one around here referred to as House Mountain. There are two or three rather technical spots that included bypasses for milder builds. This is a fun trail that sports a steep incline going up the edge of a mountain and requires crawling. This one offers some awesome views and exits through a canyon. There's a fun plateau towards the middle with lots of various obstacles you can play around with.

Each of these trails took me around 1 1/2 hours, so with a group I imagine it will take at least 2 per trail. I'm estimating 2-3 per to be safe. These trails are close to the Cornville area and there is an awesome burger place we can stop by between trails, or we can just pack our own lunches.

We should meet at the Speedway on Hwy 179 in Village of Oak Creek. There are plenty of pumps and a decent parking lot behind the station where we can stage. The first trail is about 15 minutes away. I think to be safe we should leave for the trailhead at 10AM since everyone is driving up, unless you all feel comfortable getting up earlier and leaving earlier, which is fine. Either way, traffic coming up north on the weekends is stupid at all times, so plan your travels accordingly. I'm hoping the weekend after a holiday won't be too bad.

As I mentioned earlier, these aren't near as technical as some of the trails we're used to doing, but they're still very enjoyable. I tried checking out Smasher Canyon last night just to see if it was doable. It was, until about 50' in lol. I think these two will be more than adequate.

I know some of you have already confirmed, but please confirm to this post so I can create a group chat and we can exchange numbers. There's a chance of rain next week with cool weather, so it's gonna be a beautiful day!
