Rebuilding the legendary Warn M8274 electric winch step by step

Nice they kept the pictures with that article. I've noticed that the older articles are missing pictures a lot of times in the peterson magazine realm.

Yes I'd saved links to some articles and now they are pretty useless.

I just saw an 8274 with a Ford truck bumper for $600 on CL.

It's crazy what they want for one now. I bought 2 for $250 each 10 years ago. and could have bought some at other times for a under $500. I guess is you can resale the bumper for a few hundred it'd be OK.

Not too bad. Been even better if they actually showed going through the brake which is the most complex part of the job and the part most often not done correctly.

I think you might have covered this before. If not I've got a few videos on the brake assembly. I can't say I'm looking forward to doing mine but I'll get it.

It is really not that bad. I guess I should get off my butt and find a brake to service and document.
