@5632 You are one of a handful of people that paid me with a check and this is how I am GOING to handle your issue.

I will be at my bank tomorrow at 0900 to find out exactly how much you paid (125.00) for skim removal (twice) and you will receive a complete refund in pennies. That is 12,500.00 cents that will be delivered to your door…I will make a video and play the audio (all calls are monitored for quality assurance and training purposes) from 15 months ago when you cursed at my technician while acting like complete imbecile or petulant child. You can decide which one fits (ewe) best. A ewe is a female sheep in case you don’t know. Like a eunuch with some fur.

This is the second time that you have tried slandering and vilifying my reputation on this forum. You can kiss my country, gravy and biscuit eating Dalton, Georgia ass with your 125.00. I would rather go out of business and eat traif morning, noon and night than take your money. Use the money to buy some Brill cream or Polident.

P.S.

I bought my LJ In Maricopa County and you make me want to return it.

Hugs and kisses,

Mark Cantrell
@5632....a little more about ewe's......

@Rcroane I can quote that movie verbatim and, yes, I got ewe from Sgt Foley. (Sooner) or later every customer from Oklahoma gets Foley’s line used on them. Have a great day @Rcroane and thanks for the laugh.

P.S.

@5632 I just received a posthumous, collect call from Glen Campbell. He kindly asked that you not sing, hum or harmonize his Phoenix song and then rolled back over.

You're in luck. A USPS medium will hold 68 lbs. worth of the zinc plated pennies which is right at 12,500 of them.

I think I know who you are.

If my memory serves me correctly @5632 had an issue with skim and an engine swap? He sent his PCM in (twice) and paid by check. He told my technician he did not know what he was talking about to which my tech told him to fu@k a duck. I offered to return his check and he told me to keep it.

Chris,

As per our telephone conversation, I am overnighting you a pcm which you will have on Friday. I apologize for the delays and please let us know when you get it installed.

Great, thanks Mark. I will let you know the results once installed.

I want to thank all of you for your kind words and continued support. We have had some glitches, corrupt software, crappy chips from CHI-NA and other misc. screwups in the 3+ years of owning Wranglerfix. However, we handle issues that arise swiftly, promptly and that is what truly separates the men from the mice!

Next:

We will be exhibiting at Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion August 25-27. Come by and say hey if any of you are going to be in attendance! Perhaps @5632 can come by so i can take a selfie with him (and then steal his wallet!)

Finally, I am going to make a special code ending in @5632 for a discount on skim removal. However, that code will only apply for people that do not speak like a poppy-mouthed octogenarian whilst talking to my technician! 🦗🐈 👆🏻

Honestly I would have thought fuckaduck would be a better discount code to honor sir 5632 for his actions compared to the code @5632

Well said Mark, there are always going to be FUCKTWITS and, sadly, there's not a thing we can do about them. Especially those FUCKTWITS who make claims and refuse to them up with facts and details.

I wish the forum had a “are you a fuckwit” survey and anyone who answers yes automatically is disqualified. Of course, fuckwits would lie so I’m not sure it would really help. But it would be funny at least.

I wanted to provide an update on the issues I was having with the PCM's I received from WranglerFix. Mark shipped a new unit to me on 8/30. Once I put it in I drove approx. 100 miles and while the check engine light did not come on I was getting a P0440 code. Because I needed to pass emissions I decided to take it to a local shop for a smoke test. Smoke test came back fine but they did find a rusted/loose/disconnected wire that was going from the PCM to the evap detection pump. Fixed the wire, drove around a bit and was able to pass emissions and no check engine light since. A big thanks to Mark and his team, I would highly recommend them if you are need of a PCM!

Received my Wranglerfix PCM within a couple of days of ordering (I like how the housing matches my Jeep 😀) I'm finally able to communicate with the PCM via scan tool, which was an issue with the old one, also gone are the O2 sensor codes. Now that I'm able to communicate with the PCM, I can diagnose and tackle an intermittent issue with my camshaft position sensor. Very happy with my Wranglerfix purchase.

Quite an interesting turn of the thread!

Question about PCMs. I have a 2005 TJ manual with 163k miles. A car fax shows the PCM was replace at the dealer a long time ago (presumably under warranty). It’s running great with no CELs. Is this something I might need to plan to replace in the future? If so I know right where I’d get one!!

Thanks!

I looked at a few part numbers with a buddy who has a 2006, and we determined that he had the latest version of the PCM which I believe ended in AC, which means his was likely replaced at some point as well because I’m pretty sure the factory was an AB model. Either way, his AC PCM went bad and he got the WranglerFix.

I don’t know what part number you have but even if it’s working okay for now, I would say you’re still at risk at some point to hve issues. I don’t know of any “good” PCMs from 05-06 that DON’T have the issues. It’s just some show them far more quickly than others.

An automatic '05-'06 TJ is more likely to have a PCM issue than a manual (the infamous first to second hard shift). The original PCM in my auto '06 failed and I was lucky enough to get a good OEM replacement that is still working fine after ~ 25,000 miles. That being said, I bought a Wrangler Fix PCM as a backup. You never know when Mark might decide to hang it up and retire to Margaritaville ;).

The 05=06 manual pcms have three main faults. o2 sensors showing bad when good, loss of gauges (usually fuel showing empty when full,) and stalling while driving. You can take a screwdriver handle and gently tap on the pcm at operating temperature to see if anything changes.

Here is a video testimonial for you to watch in your spare time!

Please let me know if you have any questions for me.

Thanks,

Mark

I am happy to hear that 25K miles and still going strong! That snake oil salesman seems to have figured it out! Speaking of snake oil salesmen, @AndyG and I sold snake oil for the same company in the 90's!

The last two letters at the end of the part number represent hexadecimal updates each time Chrysler software engineers make changes. All of our PCMs come flashed with the last software update.
