Help with the SwayLOC

You can pastor-teacher a church and not be religious? That isn't an attack, but a comment of your job/role. It seems odd you won't just own it as you're preaching a religion and leading a church.

It’s ok man. I’m not ashamed of anything. If you want to talk about why I say I’m not religious and people who know me don’t think I am, then I’m available. I come here for Jeep’s though. If you want to be in my life that’s personal and again, I’m available to those who are genuine. Not interested in picking on people, being picked on, or other such wastes of time. I’m a person. So are you.

Anyone wanna talk about swayloc?

I've enjoyed driving mine both single and dual rate. I've noticed though, while on dual rate, bumps are much more jarring and induce a lil extra dash rattle, vs single rate. Of course the overall performance of the bar easily outweighs this recent discovery, one that could be solved with an air pressure adjustment.

I do. Tonight my wife and I went on a date. Always do on Thursday’s. We went down a beautiful backcountry paved road with lots of hills and curves. I got excited and floored it. After about curve four we quickly came up on an older woman walking. I slowed down quickly, but it was a little embarrassing. It was amazing how it handled the curves. I just loved it.

I’m on day 1, but I agree the bumps are more jarring. I also agree that the overall performance enhancement far outweighs the jarring. I think I’d seen your comments about this in an earlier post. Came to mind as I hit the first potholes.

Where are the paragraphs? Does your congregation know you won't even defend your position with the minimal questioning? I'm not anti religion, but this is impressive how you won't commit to anything.

Isn't it more about the definition of religious? Not the dictionary definition but the practical application?

(i'm still jealous of all the Swayloc posts.)

IDK what you want Matt?

Paragraph #2 starts with, “Most wouldn’t…” No, I didn’t indent, and technically to be a paragraph you need 3-4 complete sentences. I thought you would understand. I assumed too much.

enough already girls, time for you to be in bed

He seems like in a attack mode. I never had a cross word with him before here I am blocked. Sorry Jeremy for the disturbance of your thread. Maybe someone is drunk.

As it is. I’m back and forth over the swayloc. I don’t drive mine on the street enough but being it’s $100 more than the antirock….it’s hard not to.

See thats where I'm at. Its only $100 more than the swayloc. Why not get a dual rate vs the antirock?

Most of the threads I read start with an antirock, eventually move to a swayloc and sing the praises of the latter. Those who DD their TJ get the benefit of the swayloc vs antirock and you hear about it.

In my case, I'm low key wanting to DD my TJ when my daughter turns 16....

If you’re not on the street much you probably won’t care much. But if it’s only $100 more it sounds worth it to me. I’m coming from an AR. I would add that I think if there was a dangerous situation onroad that I’d feel safer swerving with the SwayLoc, and safety is always at the top.

No. I have said that many times to them.

edit: What’s this have to do with SwayLoc’s? And why do you care? I already knew people looked me up on here. Doesn’t matter to me. I just find it interesting.

The SwayLoc is dual rate. We are having it both ways.

Truly a mystery, isn't it? A good fellow is smelling flowers on his way to church and suddenly for absolutely no reason whatsoever finds himself ignored by a bunch of internet bullies. It's so unfair.

I read most of the threads linked to by @Mr. Bills related to quick discos, AR and SL. 2 years ago most were praising the AR and downplaying the body sway. Then Mr. Bills and @jjvw came along, as well as @pc1p and some others. They did a great job explaining the superiority of the SL. As a DD, I’d do it for sure. You won’t be disappointed. I’ve already been thinking of it for both my sons rigs just from a safety point of view. Slightly stiffer than OEM.

Both the AR and the SL are wonderful additions to a TJ. I will still argue that I would prefer the AR over the factory sway bar on the street.

But the SwayLoc is far more versatile. It does everything the Antirock does in the soft setting. And it performs better than the factory sway bar on the street in the stiff setting. It is a very unusual product in how much it transforms and improves how a Jeep handles.

I knew what you guys said, but I was still pleasantly surprised. When I move the AR to another rig I’ll be tuning it to the stiffer settings. I agree with your theory over Jerry’s. You can get all the articulation out of an AR if it’s set up right without setting it on the loosest setting. If done properly it can be pretty good onroad. Then comes outboarding and tuned shocks to go to the next level. Thanks for sharing your knowledge on here.
