Re: 2005 Jeep Wrangler TJ. I guess these broken parts are coming from the seats. I see no way to repair them as the stud is welded or riveted in place. Is there a way and are these parts available? I’m uncertain what their purpose is, as the seats seem to be functioning ok… any help appreciated!

Those bushings are replaceable. Hopefully someone will come along with the link to replacement parts.

I've gone through several sets, replaced for free by Stable Seat.
I'm waiting for a better solution.

I hear ya

The next set I do I’m going to try to silicone the little on the split deal- You sure have to keep an eye on them

Finally! I’ve been wondering for 2 years where mine came from that I found laying in the floorboard. Good to know

I asked the same thing here, and didn't want to spend so much on a simple part. I took some electrical tape, cut it down the middle into thin strips, and wrapped it around and around that little channel, until it was about as thick as the bushing. So far so good.

EDIT: Nah, didn't hold up. But I do use the slide mechanism a lot, so maybe this approach would work for others.

Thread revival- Could I get a pic of the fix? This sounds like a good way to go. Thanks. 👍
