Need help realigning the bolt hole on the control arm to the mount. Have tried almost everything with ratchet straps and lifting up the body. Anybody have any ideas?

Youve got it thru almost all the way it looks like. Id knock it back 1/2" or so and stick a drift punch or junk screw driver into the no go side and pull till that side is aligned. Then with a BFH give it one good smack on the bolt head and it should drive it thru out the other side.

Just did a lift involving all 8 arms, trackbars etc....lining the holes up takes combo of jacking the frame/axle to various positions , sometimes a ratchet strap and sometimes a big center-punch to get lined up. It's a PITA particularly w/o a lift laying in the dirt. :)

stuff that tower with a chunk of wood and some shims if needed so it cannot collapse inward lasso it and apply some pressure.........the mount has to hold the amount it takes to true that hole anyways, no?

Put your jack stands under the frame. Then use the floor jack to raise or lower the axle until the hole lines up.

A floor jack under the pinion/pumpkin and a ratchet strap work well together- having the jack toward the front bumper rolls the axle back - I went through this tonight.

I’ve found it helpful to unbolt the track bar at the axle . It makes lining up holes for the control arms easier . When the arms are done , reattach the track bar .

Been there done that after I had to reseat a circlip that came loose from a control arm bushing. Big farm-style ratchet straps and a punch.
