could safety washers work? they're only a few bucks and not nearly as wide a full misalignment spacer.

The ORO hardware comes with what looks like 4 safety washers. I opined a page back in the thread that I wished they had sent 8, but I suppose they didn't because of the chamfered nuts. I wish I had taken a pic of them when I had them on the bench. They would probably work up to a certain shock length, but there's no question full misalignment is wider and I feel safer. I need to measure the exact width of the full misalignment spacer for others. My brain is telling me it was somewhere around 3-4mm.

I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Cycle the axle with an angle finder on it. Swing a loose SL link side to side with the angle finder on it. If the full swing of the link is more than twice the axle at full articulation, then there is nothing to improve upon.

That depends on what the shocks allow. I would be surprised if ORO has binding issues with 11s.
Wow... Well shit, now I need to figure out a way to hold down the passenger side at full droop and bring the driver up to full articulation to figure out if the AR is what's limiting my uptravel on that side. It'd be easy if I still owned a garage with ground anchors lol.

Disconnect a link. It isn't the AR, assuming the installation is good.

Disconnect a link

Wouldn't I need both connected to see the bind?

Without a spring in I can get the shock to bottom out but when it's in its about an inch shy on the drivers side. Other than spring, which shouldn't be the issue given the Currie Compressed length, AR bind is now making sense.

(AR is always disconnected during my tests)

One link attached will show you if there is binding at the joints because it is still moving through it's normal range of motion.

I take it you moved?

This may be the missing link (no pun intended 😂 in solving the problem we discussed in that pic of your rig a few months back!

Here's the nuts and bolts and spacers for the SwayLoc. I'm guessing that you're talking about the black spacers? And the nuts have a shoulder on the backside.

I know you already have this fixed but you'd said that you wished you'd taken a picture of them.

Edit: My kit is about 2 years old so this may not be the same as what others received.

That's the same hardware kit I got. Yes, those are the spacer washers @someguysjeep mentioned. The shoulders on those nuts were not really enough IMHO to allow full misalignment of the heim. Thanks for the pic.
