Just finished installing a set of Harland Sharp roller rocker arms. Here is a comparison vs stock.

Can’t tell if there’s any power increase but engine is definitely quieter and seems smoother although that may be because of the sound.

Also like to give a shout out to Harland Sharp. I dropped one of the rocker fulcrums somewhere in the engine bay and just could not find it. Called them and they had two sent to me in a few days no charge!

Some of the best, if not THE best rockers you can buy. They are on my list of items for a cylinder head swap down the road for my 440 Charger.

Stock 1.6. Didn’t want to experiment although on my Vette I did go higher ratio to good effect on power and no mechanical problems.

Very nice. Did you have to do anything to your valve cover to get it to fit such as adding a spacer or trimming out the inner baffle?

I put in the 1.7 couple years ago. You’ll need an aftermarket valve cover for clearance. There’s a lot on the Jeep Strokers forum about them.

My stroker has a crane 753901 and stock rockers because I didn’t find the added benefit out weighs the risk in a failure of roller rockers.

Huh. Interesting. Haven't seen it but I guess not many people run RRs on jeeps. What symptoms present when that happens?

Everything from noises to valves kissing pistons in the chamber of love where then the rods starting throwing the pistons and pins out the new windows in the block.

Poetic

My friend had some needle bearings get loose and in his oil system, which then burned out some bearings and the crank. It was no bueno.

On a side note, there are plenty of engines running long term with roller rockers and lifters.
