What did you do to your TJ today?

I liked the looks of the Arizona Rocky Road radio mount but I for the life of me couldn’t figure out how to order one so thanks to all of you that posted pictures of yours mounted In your jeeps… It took me a couple of days to build it, paint it and then install it and wire it but I think it turned out nice… I know the welds are not the best but they will hold and won’t be seen…

Tried to install Gabars on my 05 TJR today but the half moon of the steel that wraps under the roll bar needed another 1/4 to 1/2" to fit. Sending it back, I neither have the tools or the patience to play with something that's supposed to fit. That's why I bought American made 🤷

weird. my Grabars fit great on my '06.

Good job. If I had it to do over again, I probably would have stuck to my original plan to make one out of a piece of unistrut. The open top would make cabling a lot easier, and have much more capacity.

My money's on a smartphone being involved. It doesn't look like it would be hard to stay ON that road. Tragic...

The western slope is one of America’s treasures- but one thing about that area of Colorado is it is absolutely unforgiving if you make a mistake in some places-

Got the soft top on for the year, which always sucks since it’s a used top off a 97 that every year I have to struggle with to get on due to the custom cage. I have to start to fold down the windshield to get it to latch, then fold it back up while trying to keep tension in it so it doesn’t unclasp. The door surrounds have also been cut up and ground down to work.

I also got the last of my recovery equipment mounted. It’s a running joke in our group, but on a technicality I was able to make it through tech inspection at a competition with it.

It looks like you could just leave it stuck and it might recover itself.
