eggs in the radiator............that's a blast from the past. and panty hose/nylons can be a fan belt in a pinch too................but these are 10 mile fixes to get home.
personally i never had any luck with pour in leak stoppers when the issue was in the heater core. they used to sell tubes of aluminum or brass powder you dumped in and it melted and created the plug, but i haven't seen that crap in 30yrs (also haven't looked for it in 30yrs either).
