What did you do to your TJ today?

Carnage clean up-

Let my son take it his fiance’ in it to a good trail. Mistake. This is after I rolled it out- and he says he has no idea how he did it. Hog wash. If he was in it he knows what he hit, period.

And detailed the Rubi and cleared the codes he put in it by heat sink and stalls. That little communist deviant.

Somehow, I think he takes after his dad at his age.

p.s. I'll buy it from you since it's damaged goods now. At a reduced price of course. ;)

What scratch , What dent ........ Someone must have backed into it when we stopped for a coke and candy bar ! 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ ( completely baffled innocent look on my face )

Man I know!

This kid would tear up an iron anvil with a rubber mallet.

I’ve seen $10,000 dirt bikes bouncing down hills end over end, jeeps bellied on logs in god forsaken swamps at night, the list goes on and on.

I really knew better.

We need a beater for him- he is at the age (beyond it really ) where he can finance his own carnage.

I reckon. Kickers were rated at 100 watts rms-driven by a soundstream Picasso Nano which pits out 60 watts at 4 ohms.
JBLs are 60 watts RMS, so we shall see.
They definitely sound richer, fuller and more balanced than the kickers did.

Now are these the speakers in the dash you are talking about ???

So that 77 dollar header worked just fine with just a little mod ..... thought it would ! Glad it worked out for you , pretty good deal on it and it will be a lot better than the cast iron crack-a- doddle ! LOL !

Yep one little modification which was drilling the center hole out to like 7/16” from a 3/8” give or take. Other than that I lost one manifold bolt which I have looked everywhere and so did the wife. It didn’t make any noise when I fired up the engine so hopefully wherever it ended up I hope the bolt is happy lol

I tore up a few vehicles as a young man (still do, but with a little more caution).

I was lucky. Being 60 now, my first vehicles were great to learn on. They don't make them like that anymore. Get him his own TJ so he can wrench on it himself.

My dads rule was, if he was with us (mtn bikes, jeeps, maybe driving faster than the posted speedlimit) and we pushed it too far, he’d cover repairs. If I was on my own, or being a dumbass with friends, it was on my dime.

Helped me think twice as a younger guy and something I’m trying to pass on to my kids.

That is really cool.
