Has anyone sourced the bolts/mounts that hold the air conditioning condenser to the rear of the front grill? I have the grill out now and would like to use new mounts (Part #154892AA) but the local Jeep parts are telling me that the mounts were discontinued in 2017.

I have an order in at one of the online MOPAR sites that didn't say it was out of stock but I have a feeling that I'm going to get an email in a few days...

If these are no longer available, does anyone know of a good substitute?

Thanks

I am surprised you are having problems locating them. They are supposedly also used on the Wrangler JKs.
Went online with that part number and there are quite a few sites that list them as in stock.

Unfortunately, in my experience, that doesn't mean they are in stock. I've often been allowed to order discontinued parts online only to get an email after a couple of days saying "...that part is no longer available..."

I haven't gotten that email yet but I'm hedging because I'd like to get my front end re-assembled.

If it was used on the JK's, I can't believe it could be discontinued so soon. I wonder if there was a different part number?

The JK Superstore lists the part for $1.03 each.
Since this is a part listed for a JK; I would imagine its still available.

See what I mean? Thanks for the tip but the JK Superstore is a bust. I think a lot of these MOPAR web sites are just slightly different instances of the same process. I expect that none of them will have the part.

For anyone who might reference this in the future, the part #154892AA does not represent the well nut and bolt combination as I was told--it is only the bolt.

Two online MOPAR sites have told me that part #154892AA has been discontinued. That part # is for a 1/4"-20 bolt. So, apparently, 1/4"-20 bolts have been discontinued and are no longer available.

If ya'll buy them and want to dispose of the extras, I'm glad to purchase them. I use them all the time.
I'll send the extras to you for free. Is there a shippable address on your web site?

BTW, got my shipping notice for 15"BBK today. Thanks for that as well.

The kit will have a return address that works. Also, if I do the flip, which I did, I toss in a set of the raised sway bar brackets for you.

1/4-20 rubber well nut for a 1/2" hole with a 1/16" thick flange.

I bought some 1/4-20, 1/2" hole with 3/16" flange at Menards today because that's what they had but I think it might cause a problem with hood clearance or maybe even the bottom holes lining up so guess I'll order these.

Still have all the accessories unattached to my fenders and dangling randomly so I can't close the hood to check but it looks like the tabs stick up pretty far.

I would have already sanded the flange down.

I would have already sanded the flange down.

I just tried using a razor blade. Not the most elegant way to cut them down but I think it worked. Better than paying more and waiting for shipping I suppose. This is why my projects take so long - too much overthinking and not enough doing. Sanding would probably work better like you said.

I went to another nearby Menards store and they had shorter 5/8" ones in stock that have the right flange size. $1.49 each :D

That bin was empty the first time around at the other store so I had no idea the flange size difference.

I went to ace hardware an got compression nuts an put a rubber washer between the condenser an the frame ,,,perfect

is there a reason these are mounted on rubber well nuts? after a few years it sucks getting them out, the rubber just turns. Also its a pita because the rest of the jeep is metric, and these were standard. I was starting to think the ac in my jeep was aftermarket
