OK for the car guru's out there..... Is this worth $17,500? To me this is a $5K truck.

1952 5 window Chevy rat rod. Corvette running gear 4 way disc brakes LT1 engine. 350 turbo transmission. Interior done. Patina. Possible trade for small pick up

Maybe, depending on local market and what's under it, but I'd think closer to 10K is more realistic. My buddy built one for a customer a few years ago that looks nearly identical, without the Corvette stuff. I think that guy had somewhere near 20K in it.

Whats a complete , running Corvette chassis worth ?
Throw in a straight early 50's Chevy body.
Should a new JL Jeep cost $40,000- 90,000 ?
A decent dirt bike is $5000 -7500

It totally sucks but this is what the world costs now.

I don't know the answer to that, but I spent a decent chunk assembling some Corvette suspension and driveline parts that I was going to graft into one of my Impalas in the name of performance. That idea has since been abandoned in favor of a simpler setup, and I bet I only recouped 1/2 of what I originally spent. If I was to go down a similar road today, I'd just do a 'Vette-cart. I'd never cutup a good car, but let me find a decent wrecked car and it's game on.

Cut the ugly off of a C8 and that could be a pretty badass cart/sand rail.

In a bold venture, Carrozzeria Ghia built the bodies for fifty-five experimental Chryslers fitted with gas turbine engines during the early 1960s. Designed internally by Chrysler Corporation in the late 1950s, the multifuel turbine engine was the focus of a long-range development program that ran for decades and cost millions of dollars at a time when a million meant something to major manufacturers.

It may be an Italian design , but every time I see a Chrysler turbine car all I can see is a Thunderbird!
