Hello from France,
I have a 2004 Wrangler

I have 2 topics:
- My Jeep comes from Sweden and therefore the low beams are always on, like DRL for Canada I think. I want to install after market Light with drl halo and it will be prefect if I could use the actual DRL signal. I don't suceed to have the proper wiring diagram, is there a relay somewhere?

- On my interior mirror I have the display of the direction and the outside temperature. Is there a way to increase the intensity of the display, it's so low that I can only see it at night.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Mine occasionally goes dim. I assume it's just due to age.
However, try reseating the plug on the back of the mirror.

The DRL module is on the middle of the firewall, under the hood, its like in the firewall indent, above the transmission. The plug with 5 or 6 wires, plugs into it from the bottom, held on with two screws.

This is what it looks like and where it should be mounted. I can see the two dimples, in the firewall, where the screws would go.

You can try to use a black trim restorer for plastic parts. I have used Solution Finish before on other cars with great results and super easy to use, the black plastics stay nice and dark for a while. I have yet to use it on the various TJ plastics but i imagine it would do well on it, essentially anywhere that has a textured black plastic.

You can find these used on eBay, don’t really know about shipping to where you are at through. Just search jeep tj door panel sail. Cheers🍻

The mirror temp/compass display dimming is a common issue. I believe it's due to poor solder/electrical connections. I have contact in US that repairs them and does excellent work, he did mine. Let me know if you want contact information.

Might be easiest/cheapest to get used unit. That mirror is used in several vehicles.
