Alright, Mr Wildman!

There is always something about an engine on the host.

And back in the frame rails... Hopefully for the last time.

Tranny bolted up and the transmission crossmember installed.

And the engine is in place.

Got this monster back in there....
They didn't call it a Monster Box for no reason. It actually slid in pretty easy this time around. I didn't grab any pic's of how much clearance I have above the case now but compared to before with the previous setup it's a lot.

I've got to either loose the sight tube or modify the rear crossmember.... Not sure which I'm gunna do yet.

I must be getting old cause I'm worn the fuck out from muscling it into place. And that was with a floor jack that works.
Might as well modify the crossmember now then. Think about how much it's going to hurt doing it later lol.

Could you kill two birds and tuck the belly up a bit more since you have a bit more clearance now?

I don't want to move things up any more than where it's at now. I have a fingers thickness between the floor and the t-case. Making room for the sight tube is along the front of the crossmember tube, I need to put a notch in it.

Edit: I think I could get a skid with only a 1" drop instead of the 2" drop I have now.

At the doctor's office right now for a appointment and then have one tomorrow afternoon with my prosthesis to pick up my new sockets. Looking forward to seeing them. Will see if I can get a few hours in on the Jeep.
Then next week I'm starting a new study at the CLIMB center at the VA on Tuesday.

Worked on the rear crossmember some. The GOOD thing is that it's in a area where both tubes are there so I doubt it'll weaken it much if any.

I'll go a little deeper just to make sure it won't contact the fitting and then weld a plate in the spot. My other thought was to just weld the two tubes together? @someguysjeep or others? What do you all think?

Got the intake out to take a look at it to see if I have a spot for the temp sensor from Wizard Cooling. I'd originally installed this sensor to use with the PWM I have but with the brushless fan and the temp sensor it isn't needed. The sensor with the black housing is for the stock wiring & the sensor with the red tip was the sensor I was going to use for the PWM.

But neither of these holes were large enough for the temp sensor from Wizard Cooling but luckily this intake has a bung on the drivers side that looks to be large enough and is in the coolant circuit.

I'll pull the plug in the morning and verify that the sensor fits. If not I can drill it out and tap it for the size that I need hopefully. Then I can get the intake installed and lay out the wiring harness. Slowly it's going back together. I see my next big project will be the interior as I get all the wiring done for switches and gauges plus the stereo.

Doesn’t Wizard recommend the temp sensor for the fan go into the radiator? That’s where mine is.

My radiator doesn't have a spot for the sensor that I know of but I'll look again. And they never mentioned that to me.

When I talked to them they would be putting it in the radiator.

Damn guess I need to call them.
