Me too!

Using old rubber bed liner for the nonslip top, Tuffy tie down brackets. Will stiffen one side of the rubber and use as a table top.
And yes, I can open the cooler.
Haven't tried with backseat but supposedly fits. Love me some LJ.

I might be willing to switch to a shallow full length drawer if I could mount the seat on top of it.

They make an under the back seat drawer, but the depth is pretty small and I do think it raises your seats up a bit (for the TJ).

I realized after I posted that the OP was referring the full length drawer and I was thinking the under seat concealed carry draw. I think I leave things how they are for me until I commit to removing the rear seat.
