the rig on the left will have more a bunch more opportunity for uptravel.

So maybe that's what this boils down to, is prioritizing uptravel vs belly height. The subrame rig could match the flat belly rig in uptravel and have similar COG at the cost of a lower belly height, or match belly height with more uptravel at the cost of higher COG.

They told us a few pages ago all you need for rock crawling is 3-4" of uptravel. So if that's true, they'd be talking out of both sides of their mouths.

only if you want to keep doing this with strawman arguments. You guys can get downright obtuse with the way you latch on to one feature of an entire post and get stuck on it for pages. I've lost track of how many times he's said the frame is high for more uptravel but the krew is obsessed and it's too late to have any intelligent conversation.

No, we are talking about a system. All these things are relevant. The only reason it drags on is because people refuse to answer simple questions around components of the system and instead reject all questions/comments/thoughts because the others don't post a specific pedigree... until they do and then those demanding pedigree ignore it anyway.

Did I stutter?

Big difference between that and being an asshole. Where I’m from you say whatever you want but you better be able to cash the check your mouth writes. Like I said use your grown up voice.

All the questions that can be answered with what's given have been. You guys are fixated on specific questions like it's a lego set that only goes together one way, after he's repeatedly stated it's a builder kit to design and build for the application and it's been ignored. Go ask somebody credible what angle and height the mounts should be at on a shock outboard without telling them anything else about the rig and see how many questions get answered.

Now look at your drawing. Who’s suspension has the ability to have more up travel or the ability to be lowered with the same given up travel. The frame and axle are your limiting factor.

How much up travel do you want/need? Based on my drawing, both can have 7" of up travel.

I can’t believe im arguing with a guy who’s crowning build is this 😂

Lol, just because I don't have deep pockets doesn't mean I don't understand what goes into a good build. Now you're getting petty and personal because you're refusing to even back up what you're saying 🤣 .

All depends on terrain. They both don’t have 7” of up travel. Again the FRAME/AXLE is the limiting factor on up travel. But now you are getting away from the topic at hand. In your drawing which system would hang up more given the same belly height?

I offered you a receipt that you refused.

We’re back at this again 😂. Yeah, let’s bench race some more. How many National rock crawling championships do you have? I have proven myself and my ability to design and fabricate rigs for decades. You? Let’s go even further. What do you do for a living? Me, well I live a breath building/designing rigs for a living and have for decades 🤷‍♂️

Maybe the one on the left doesn't have 7" of up travel, I don't know because I don't build that way. But the one on the right does with a 4" suspension lift equivalent.

Unfortunately that doesn't mean much to me. I rescued a professionally built Jeep. 🤮
