So I just put in my JB Conversion SS SYE and only have the front DS in while waiting for the rear new CV DS.
When connecting the new speedometer connection with the time ring, the speedometer works but is incorrect, but works consistently.

Programmed correctly, and drive rhe TJ, the speedometer reads 0. The Jeep stutters and stalls. Very weird, and it’s plugged in all of it is never used.
Anyone had this issue?

I added a pic of the connectors. The SpeedoHealer female side looks like only 2 connectors are showing? Anyone else have one that sees the same or all 3 showing?

Anyone have a SH v4 they haven’t installed that can snap a pic of the connectors?

The guy at JB Conversions might be able to help you if there’s no customer support for SH. Just a thought…

I did have trouble getting the sensor to pick up the tone ring and send the signal to the cluster, but a second sensor fixed that problem. It doesn’t make sense your rig is sputtering. Does it do that when you unplug the sensor? Should run fine either way. You may have something else wrong.

One time my TJ sat for a couple weeks with no battery and the first time I drove it, had no speedometer reading. It stalled at every stop sign. I pulled off at a gas station and pushed the buttons on the SH to verify it was on and still had my settings, which it did, and then it started working.

I don't have any good ideas for what your issue is, just offering that info in case it's helpful. I won't be back home until tonight but I can pull a connector and get a photo if no one else has by then. I got mine in 2019 from blue monkey.

Appreciate the feedback.

I usually try to start with the simple. When there is no SH and the VSS is plugged into the Jeep harness, it runs perfectly, like it always has. Just the speed is off by 6 mph.

When I plug in speedo, it sputters and stalls. Unplug, and back into the harness, no SH, it runs perfectly.

SH is sending overnight emails they must be Eastern Europe, the name is a “…stan”.

I’m convinced there should be a 3rd pin on that connector on the SH and it’s not messed up, there is a wire going in.

I would think you're correct. If there was no need for the third pin there then there would be no need for it in the other connector, either. Since the SH powers up it must have power and ground so odds are that you're missing the signal pin. Can you disassemble the connector to see if maybe it just didn't get inserted deep enough to latch itself in?

If you're asking if my pin didn't get inserted deep enough......Maybe, ha. Kidding, I'm going to do that. I sent it to SH support to have them look, and they thought I meant "Are there 3 total Plastic Plugs". Argh, so I literally drew a line on the picture and said "That pin, the pin isn't there, is that correct." Ha. I'll pull the thing apart, agree, just see if I can fix the plug.

Yes, yours is missing. You need that pin. EDIt: now that I’m glancing up through the thread Im a little late. Oh well, hope the third pin solves your issue!

So Installed it for the 3rd time, thankfully it’s not hard ha. I talked, realized I wanted cable loom, pulled out out loom on and installed again. Didn’t work, pulled it out to fix the dam connector, installed again and drove it and it works perfectly.

Thanks for the pics to validate that missing connector.
