Sold's 2006 LJ Build

Well, glad I dropped the skid plate when I did. All bolts came out fine, nutserts look great (even though I had just gone ahead and bought replacement kit from BMB). Some surface rust had started to accumulate but with ball peen , steel wool, dremmel it all came off easy. Frame looks great . Now to de grease , apply some rust treatment , prime and paint .

Savvy Front bumper came in today, they forgot to include fairlead mount. I texted them and they replied saying the would ship it in 2-3 weeks. I was trying to make sure I did my regear and lockers before I splurged on something like a bumper, but when I saw the front bumper in stock I had to pounce.

Would just like to report that the Grizzly Locker has been pretty much silent so far turning. I haven't had to make any super sharp parking lot turns yet but just general street driving its quiet and pretty well behaved. 4.88 gears.....I went back and forth for a longggg time on whether I should get 4.88 or 5.13 gears for this build. I ultimately decided on 4.88 for several reasons: 1. I put quite a bit of stock into what two different people up @ ECGS told me and they all thought 5.13 would be too deep for my usage and location (pretty flat East coast areas) 95% on road usage. Also , I was concerned over what I feel isn't talked about too much from reading all the posts on the forum but the potential for vibes when moving to 5.13 gears (dana 30 up front). I also don't have any plans to go to 35s in the near future which is what has driven a lot of my decisions. I'm running 33x10.5 BFG All terrains which are almost 32s.......... The verdict, DAMN THE OD sucks on the 42rle ...ohh well 4.88s are better than what I have, and all and all Im pleased. ECGS is a good shop.
