The annual Creatures Crawl is put on by the club Notorious Crawlers.

I was drawn to this event by the YouTube channel Wrecked Gear. They announced a subscribers run. I found them years ago while searching for AZ trails content. Billy and Jess make up the channel. We were part of a 25 man group through just the Lower Terminator trail. I now have formed an opinion of a large group run.

My little Jeep lined up with some buggies and a 4400 class race car.

4400 class dudes enjoyed themselves. Was a hoot to watch them.

Rear steer buggies to the left of me. Built TJ's to the right. Here I am stuck in the middle.

Buggy life. We mere mortals take the route to the left around this up and over.

I should have taken this this line. Will do it next time.

We mortals parked to watch the buggies tackle to good stuff at the end of the trail.

Man, I must have looked like a rubber necking country geek. Wide eyed and taking all this in. This was fun!

Every time I see buggies there is a fleeting thought that I'd like to have one. Then common sense sets in. I'd rarely use it, I'd need more space to store it, a bigger truck and trailer would be needed to tow it, and of course the is the cost to buy/build. This is when I realize my little TJ puts as big a smile on my face, and I can drive it wherever I want. It is fun to watch though!

You speak the truth.

Looks like you had a great time, love watching the buggies but also have friends with them and am happy with my beloved LJ.
