I’m about to replace exterior and interior door handles on my 1998 Tj.
I’m looking on the Quadratec website.
Is there a quality difference in the Quadratec Vs Crown?
Thanks!!

I think he is talking about the door handle that opens the door not a grab bar.

I bought Crown handles for both interior and exterior. No issues with the exterior handles, but on the interior ones I found the rod clips to be a softer, almost rubbery formulation of plastic and the rods would pop out of them. At one point I had to remove the interior door panel with the door closed so I could operate the mechanism manually. It was ok with a soft top but I can imagine it being a pain if it happened with hard top and full doors. I ended up just swapping the rod clips over from the old handles.

Bought a full set exterior/interior from Quadratec. They arrived today and look good quality. I’ll keep the clips off the old ones and compare. Thanks for the input!!

There are good videos on YouTube on how to switch then out. I was glad to have my son home from college so he could do it, my hands dont work well with small parts.

And I flipped my over/switched driver passenger so they open up the correct way now.
