What did you do to your TJ today?

Started to clean my engine compartment , wasn't really all that bad dirty .
First three pictures are before and the last was after the dry clean, that was as far as I got when it started to rain again. Bummer two days off and bad weather.

After just dusting off the compartment and wiping off the dust it is amazing how much better it looked just doing that . I think it will look almost new when I get through detailing it out.

I took my LJ for a drive for the first time yesterday with an off road trailer I built. I shot both with the same grey and it's the first time they've been hooked up and off of my property. No camping with them yet so no pics of the RTT in the open position. I have lots to do on the LJ but it's coming along.

Best lookin LJ I think I’ve seen. Looks great. Might be a bit biased with the color though 😉

I agree re the colour. I think Jeep would have done well with it during the TJ period. It has certainly sold well with JKs and JLs. I could have gone with that but cheaped out and did a backyard Tremclad "Gloss Grey" job. It's the same paint as Rustoleum "Smoke Grey".

Oh, it’s something else? I thought it was gunmetal pearl!

Anyone running this B&M cable shifter ? I’ve heard good things about their shifter for transmissions and see it’s on sale for $136 and some change currently.

I bought a Savvy as they are considered the best, they were out of stock for some time but now I have one on the way.

Got the wheel studs for my Revolution Axles finally today so now I have all the parts to get mine back on the road.......all I have to do is all the damn work ! 10 of these little rascals came in !

I’ve always used an open ended lug nut and some washers to draw them in and seat the splines.

Being my daily driver I don’t use 4x4 that often but I would like a shifter that’s smoother than the factory linkage. Especially when I put the body lift on soon I would like to get a cable shifter. I’ve always heard good things about savvy minus the supply and demand for these old rigs.
