Hello All,
Glad to be here. I have a house in Vallarta and spend half the time there and half the time in Philly. Just picked up a very nice 03 Rubicon and need to add some aftermarket items. Winch ready bumper, winch, etc. etc. Quadratec, is five minutes from my house in Pa, but no such luck in Vallarta. Found a decent shop in Guadalajara but that is about 5 hours away. Google has let me down. Anyone have any luck or advice. Really appreciate it, and I will certainly post pics. My thanks !!!

- Warn M8000 (or any decent Warn winch, there are several in the 8000-9500 range)
- Any stubby bumper that is set up for a winch (Savvy, Genright, Warn, Motobilt, UCF). Some better than others, all fine if you're just putting a winch on it and driving around Puerto Vallarta. You could even use the stock bumper and buy a winch plate.
- Go fishing! Enjoy your TJR

Thanks pal, I appreciate it. that is one reason i am spending so much time there. Caught this allison tuna (yellowfin) of a lifetime about a week and half ago in La Corbetena

As for suppliers - Both Amazon and Amazon.mx deliver to PV. Another option is a mailing service, typically with an address in Laredo TX, where you can receive your shipment from any U.S. supplier. The mailing service handles customs for you and trucks your shipment to you in Mexico. One popular mailing/shipping service is SMA International, which serves San Miguel de Allende, Puerto Vallarta, and other expat enclaves.

As for a shop or mechanic in PV or Bucerías to service your rig and install your stuff, probably the best way to find one will be to ask other jeep owners in PV who services their jeeps and who they recommend. Also keep your eyes open for custom cars, rat rods, very clean vochos, Safaris, etc. Those guys will know the best mechanics and auto body people in town. [Prepárate para que sea un hermano, primo o tío. ;)]

Buena suerte.
