What did you do to your TJ today?

Got some adjustable lowers installed yesterday and today I started tearing the old long block down to a short block. I ran out of daylight but I got all the pistons out and all the main bearing caps off. Just need to pull the harmonic balancer and timing set off to get the crank and cam out.

cali to cali doesn't hurt shipping times..

it's too bad shipping takes so long for you. i order things from your neighbouring AUS on the regular and never wait more than a week..

This was sent USPS …. I get things from Amazon in about 10 days from the States… even Bartact were shocked how long it took lol

Pulled the shovel off the bottom and the transmission mount...then heated the rod on the exhaust with my gas axe, straighten it out and rebent it about an inch down so it would fit without interference.

Noticed the rear lower driver side sway bolt was loose. Took some break free and my 1500 lbs Makita dak dak to knock it loose. Bolt threads were wallered out on the inside. Mopar part I found from a post was $11 ea on Amazon. Two Rough Country 4" to 6" lift links, bushings and bolts was $40. I'll give that a shot for now. Dak dakd the bolt on tight for now.

Went for a test drive. Couple minutes in belt squeal. Voltage dropped to zero and the check gauges came on.

$150 for a 90a reman at the parts stores. $40 for a pull for 117a from a 95 Cherokee from the junkyard...greasy as hell but it'll do until I can pay off the CC for the Novak AX15...or decide I really need a Premier Power Welder or a Mechman.

PPW for the win.

Drove the Rubi to work, got in the office, felt nauseous. Turned the computer back off, sprayed everything I had touched with lysol and locked the office back up.
Called the boss and told him I was going home!!!!!!!

Got to get over whatever it is by tomorrow night. Going wheeling with @AndyG @Hog @tr21triton and a few more folks.
Don't want to give them anything, but wheeling is wheeling and they don't have to ride with me :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: ;);):cool:

Sounds like a case of “ anticipation anxiety “ to me.
