The six pilots who were killed during a Veterans Day airshow outside of Dallas have been pictured.
Five of the pilots were on board a Boeing B17 Flying Fortress bomber when it collided with a P-63 Kingcobra in midair at a weekend airshow to celebrate Veterans Day, outside of Dallas on Saturday.
Terry Barker, Len Root, Curtis Rowe, Kevin Michels and Dan Ragan have been named as the crew members involved. Both Root and Barker were were pilots for American Airlines.
The P-63 was being flown by Craig Hutain who also died as his plane smashed into the bomber aircraft. Hutain worked as a Captain for United Airlines.
The shocking accident was witnessed by hundred of people on the ground and captured in sickening detail as airshow spectators and photographers captured the event on their cellphones and professional cameras.
The Allied Pilots Association identified former members Terry Barker (left) and Len Root (right), who are both part of the B-17 crew, among the deceased. Both had worked for American Airlines
Major Curtis Rowe, a 30-year plus veteran of the Civil Air Patrol's Ohio Wing, was also on board the B-17 which crashed
Kevin Michels is said to be one of six men who died in the midair collision at the Dallas airshow
Michels flew with the CAF Gulf Coast Wing's B-17 Texas Raiders
