Hi everyone

Hope you're loving your Jeep TJs as much as I love mine. One day I will post a detailed summary of my experience with pictures! It lives a rough life in the Caribbean!

Have a question about how to read the parts catalogue - I have a RHD model and need a new condenser. I believe the absence of a "U" next to the part in this picture means that it's the same for LHD and RHD right? Grateful for any wisdom!

@Keepschanging I have just installed a new condenser into my '99 RHD TJ. I am 99% certain that it is the same part as the US / LHD Jeeps. I've checked and the liquid lines and hoses from the condenser into the evaporator appear identical in both LHD and RHD up to a point near the firewall. All the online videos appear to show it identically mounted in LHD to my RHD one and the hose connections are in the same spot.

So I am almost certain that you can just order a LHD one - hopefully I haven't got that horribly wrong.

WARNING: The diagrams in the manual for the RHD variants of the A/C system do NOT represent the actual RHD components. That image you posted can be very confusing and bears little resemblance to the actual parts in our RHD Jeeps!

Hope this helps.

go to page 475 for your correct application....it will show it as a "U" for RHD 99 TJ and it's not the same part number as a LHD !

The first picture is a condenser out of an 00 or newer TJ as it has dual PAD connectors. The second picture is of a 99 model condenser. Be 100% certain you have the correct year if manufacture for your TJ. In many RHD countries the first year of registration is what your VIN lookup on parts online catalogs and this is not the same as your model year!
