So after looking through posts I'm still at a loss. Dana 35 has a bind feeling when in 4wd no biggie. Pulled the diff cover the other night for a inspection found slight play in the post for the spider gears but not quite enough for now. Tonight on the way home had the same bind feeling on the pass side doing 60 lol on a decent smooth highway. I'm leaning towards maybe bearings?? Im assuming there's a inner and outer on these? All ujoints are good, shocks are shot and still need to rebuild the lower control arm bushings but should figure out the prob before I'm walking. Thoughts besides throwing a set of dana 60s in lol

Id jack up the arse end and spin each wheel to see/feel/hear what you can. Id also make sure you do rotate the carrier, not just each wheel alone as well to feel for that binding. I had what you describe on the 98 Dana 35 when I twisted the carrier but obviously it was binding all the time.

Thanks Gilaguy23 I done most of that when I was doing the inspection except the carrier rotation. Prolly won't hear $#&* cause of too many guns equipment and dumb decisions on my ears but can certainly see and feel. I'm assuming rotating the spiders left to right. Forgive me for my ignorance usually leave the diffs for someone with more knowledge with preloads and backlash
