I just purchased used a like-new never used listed JKS front track bar for TJ/LJ/XJ 1-3.5”. It arrived today, and upon inspection, I think the seller sold me a Grand Cherokee WJ front track bar by accident (seemed like an honest considerate seller). The diameter for the bushings on both ends is 2”, the bushings seem completely off from the spec sheet on the TJ/LJ/XJ, and there’s no hole for inserting the grease jerk, no tapered split cone, no flex ball or snap ring. The 2.5” flex ball that should’ve come with it wouldn’t even fit the 2” diameter holes at the end of each arm, right?

I’m new to TJ/LJ suspension so please confirm my logic here so I know I’m not going crazy. Ugh - two weeks ago, I purchased a used listed Flashpaq that turned out to be a Flashcal and a used listed unlocked TrailDash2 that turned out to be VIN locked. NO MORE USED ITEMS SHIPPED - Only local items I can visually inspect from now on - Jeesh!

No jks tj bar I’ve seen uses urethane at both ends.

If you need a good value the rough country track bar that is $129 can be rebuilt with quality over the counter parts- And requires no modification to the vehicle.

Any suspension link with a split bushing is a waste of money. Shame on JKS. And the Flashpac/flashcal/TrailDash doohickey doesn't do anything on a TJ, making it also a waste of money.

Seller agreed to refund, so I’m sending it back. Definitely was Grand Cherokee WJ by JKS. Looks identical after I examined this item and the JKS website pictures and parts blowout much more closely. Thanks for the response.

That is a sought after model sir. Looks like it is in nice shape.

45k miles southern owned Jeep, no rust, no body damage. I looked impatiently for three years before finally pulling the trigger. It’s more my garage princess for beach cruising with no top/no doors in coastal South FL. Light overland stuff just as a means to an end getting to trailheads and campsites etc. (mountain biking, hiking, camping, paddleboarding, etc.).

Are those Bridger wheels? I’ve been looking for a set but never seen them in-person and didn’t know they went that deep. Very cool! Love the Bridger and Pintler argent color!

I faked a set with Extreme Terrain Copies and AEV JK center caps.

Call the Traildash company, I think theyre out of FL too. I think.

They can get you way to unlock that TrailDash2. It’s pretty cool to have the digital readouts screens and it certainly helps as a code reader etc as well.

I like having mine a lot. I don’t tune anything per se, but it’s still very useful since you have it. The 4.0 frankly runs fine for me as is.

Yep - That’s what I had to do along with paying their 100 dollar unlock service fee. I wanted a code reader and this does so many other nice monitoring functions. I may try one of the tunes, but like you, I’m happy with the 4.0 as-is. And while older, it does deviate somewhat from my time period correctness vintage tech efforts with the RB1 nav radio and the Jeep Trail Guide 🤫
