It's looking like I'd have to go Thursday morning if I'm going to make it this week and beat the weather. I might have to push it off until sometime next week after things dry up a little. I'll let you guys know if I decide to go next week.

Just to let y'all know, I had work today and since the rain is supposed to move in tonight, I'll be pushing off my trip until sometime next week.
Made it to uwharrie Monday October 24th. It was absolutely beautiful but very dry. Hoping to get back out there in the next couple of weeks.

Hey everyone. Reading through here there is a lot of great stuff. I am new to the TJ Forum (used to have a JKU Sahara) as I bought a 2005 TJ Rubicon with 40K miles on it and quite a bit of the regular mod stuff done to it. I am actually enjoying the process of getting rid of bugs in the jeep that at least I am not ok with. I currently have a lot of work to get the vinyl wrap off the jeep and bring it back to its stock white color, plus I have a wobble (not death) in the steering so its going into BMF Motorsports tomorrow to get a once over as I don’t have a lift and can’t find anything obvious. Anyone have experience with BMF??
Anyway, looking forward to hopefully getting out on the trails (baby steps) with some of you if that is a thing you do. I live in Weddington/Waxhaw area of Charlotte so if anyone is around here and wants to chat, let me know.

Uwharrie trails will be closing here in a few weeks until April ‘23. Going to try and head out one more time before then. If anyone is interested, weekends work for me.

I’d be down Dec 3-6. I’ve been taking my SXS there about twice a month but would like to take the Jeep with other folks. Really haven’t done a good rough shake down run since the build.
I want to get a shakedown in as well. Unfortunately I'm out of town two out of the next 4 weeks for work. I'll keep my eye on the dates the group comes up with in case I can make it.
I'm waiting on an answer from one of my buddies to see if we are riding sxs's, if not, the Jeep it is. I can't fully commit at this moment, but hopefully by tomorrow.
Work is taking me to the Uwharrie area today. Actually, I have a simple inspection ~15 minute drive from Eldorado Outpost, so I'm driving the Jeep and plan to ride around for a while. I know it's last minute, but I'll be there after lunch if anyone else wants to ride for a little while.
I may be able to swing that. Will post back up on Saturday to confirm.
