Would it be a good idea to replace my fuel rail while I'm doing the injectors?

I’m going to replace all my injectors. Is it a good idea to do the rail at the same time? Just curious before I purchase

Cheers

I would replace both o-rings on each injector (MOPAR if you can swing it).

You're in Vancouver so not much point in recommending a heat shield for the rail and injectors.

But if you're ever planning on a trip south for wheeling this would probably be the time to consider it.

My 97 has a Schrader valve on the rail to test fuel pressure. Not sure if yours does...might be a moment to add a test port.

My 06 didn’t have a schrader so I bought a billet aluminum rail on Amazon for about $115. It has a schrader and a threaded port in the front for a pressure gauge . The quality looks great and no issues so far.

I also might take the opportunity to swap to a fuel rail with a schrader valve if you don't already have one. Otherwise, just squirt some cleaner in there and blow it out with compressed air while you have the injectors out.
