I’ve had mine on the MORE bracket over the intake manifold for 3 years now. No issues to date and has always been reliable. Might move it to behind the driver seat this winter. Or might not.

You can also connect the air compressor's intake hose to the air intake tube via a T placed into the tube. I did that with my York system, it gives the compressor air that is filtered through the engine's air filter.

What's confusing to me is ARB's locker compressors were designed for and are supposed to be mounted inside the engine compartment.
I've had the same ARB compressor on the ABS tray since 2001 without any issue.

My single has been mounted to the ABS tray since 2004. I locked the axles just the other day and no issues.
