What did you do to your TJ today?

I'm thinking of selling my Jeep (before I go broke) and getting a 2020 model that gets better gas mileage.

Sorry that wasn't meant to be a like, this state is a pain in the ass for inspections for sure. Especially on tires.:mad:
OMG yeah it is. The lift law basically limits a TJ to 2" of body or suspension, and 2" bigger tires, so I guess 33s since rubis had 31s. There's an inch of leeway, so maybe 3" in suspension or body if the inspector isn't an ass.

I didn't have problem with the lift, the rims it came with had the tires just a little bit

Yes the biggest thing is the inspector. Where I have been bring it the last 2 years they have been ok, hopefully it stays that way. Unbelievable that they made all the inspection stations have to pay for cameras so they can review if they are doing it right and not letting something pass that shouldn't.

F'n big brother state.

Had to wait until the first snow of the season to put the hardtop on

Broke the rear window in the spring taking it off and waited until last month to get it fixed, so I paid for it today freezing my fingers off putting it on. But it is a nice new tinted window though :) Snow tires on next weekend!

The cameras have just taken it to a whole new level. Really hard to find someone willing to bend the rules anymore with big brother watching. Makes sense, the shop I usually go to had their permit suspended several times for letting things pass that shouldn't. These days I just try to play within the rules, I just don't have the patience i once had to deal with the stupidity.

yup, looking like 4" now. Just got my new plow edge and waited until today to put it on my plow, so I know how you feel :)

It’s annoying to get an MA state inspection at first for sure. If you run into inspection issues - let me know. I have a few places I know that are reasonable about it.

I have a decent one, but it's just getting harder for these guys to help even if they want to. What part of the state are you in? I'm in south central, Southbridge area.

Found snow. Got stuck. Got unstuck. Broke shit.

Junkyard alternator lasted about 25 days. Check engine light is from random misfire codes. Brakes got soft...gotta check that switch in the proportioning valve... guessing I should have had a brake light too.

Drove for an hour or so on my Optima deep cycle yellow top and battery was still at 12.88 when I got home.
