What did you do to your TJ today?

Vanderhoof is 100km west of Prince George. When I headed to work just after midnight, none of my three vehicles would even crank, and they were all plugged in. Involuntary day off work (not bad when that’s hauling logs in this weather) and two frozen batteries.

I did though finger out how to add text to a pic on me phone.

Going to be 70deg on Christmas day in the Phoenix area.
Going to be a 17 deg day on Christmas here...

Today changed transfer case fluid, transmission and engine oil.
Lubed up the front end.
Rotated the tires.

Picked up my door cards from the local body shop. I had tried everything remedy I could find to cure the faded tops of the door panels and nothing worked. Took them to my local shop and had them dyed. I am amazed at how they came out. Dead perfect match and a flawless finish... well worth the $100 I paid. Thought about painting them myself, but I suck at painting and it would have pissed me off to no end to look at a crappy finish every day, just to save a few dollars.

Checked out my tps with a Simpson 260. My jeeps a bit jerky coming down hills when you give it a bit of gas to maintain speed. TPS is smooth as silk from idle to wide open throttle. What’s weird is after pulling the plug off and putting it back on the jerkyness seems to be gone. Maybe the contacts were a bit corroded.

Do you have a manual transmission? I'm getting some jerkyness but no error codes

Feels like the engine is missing but like you no codes. What I found is since I ordered the mopar oem tps why not install it. Even though the old one reads good on the meter the mopar tps cured ALL of my jerky running. The tps I pulled out was a store brand not mopar. Huge difference, you can buy a store brand for $15. The mopar cost $80 with shipping and taxes. How it smoothed out the engine is amazing. Oh and yes to the manual tranny.
