Im not a fan of chrome, but yours would look good with chrome front and back bumpers. Chrome side steps
Any 80’s build is not worth its salt without a chrome one of these! You get extra bonus build points if you run dual chromed shocks on the front.

Edit: Cars are like that too. TJs can get away with alot of stupid stuff and still look OK.
Not sure if you have built one of these- the tires mean lift, adjustable arms, big brakes ideally, regearing and axles- about $10,000.00 to do it well.
The chrome light bar, the tube bumpers, a chrome grill cover, loud seat covers and a spare cover with a sunset, two towels and flip flops and she’s good to go. Be sure the radio is loud.
