Simply put i need some lug nuts the oem looking ones seem to have a flimsy sheet metal over them. Looking for solid lugnuts with normal hex bodies. I have black wheels but could care less about paying more to have black lugnuts.

I have a set of these (except in the extended thread version) on my Jeep and a small trailer I use with the Jeep every now and then for a couple years now. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KMJNXOE/?tag=wranglerorg-20

I've driven many days on the beach with them and thought they may rust. I'm surprised that they have zero rust on any of them.

I'm a huge fan of McGuard lug nuts. They are a little on the expensive side ($11 for 4, youll need 5 packs. 6 if you replace the ones on the spare carrier), but they make a great lug nut. I have them on every vehicle I own. I don't trust cheap lug nuts after I had a passenger rear wheel fall off an f150 years ago. These are the ones I have on my TJ, XJ, and trailer.
