Need to replace the complete exhaust system on my daughters 02 TJ. Let's hear what everyone recommends.

I'm replacing my exhaust manifold after pulling a P0171 code and determining it has many holes in it (hopefully that is the fix). I ordered this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0777KPM18/?tag=wranglerorg-20

After crawling around underneath, I decided to also replace the entire exhaust system since it's pretty worn and weathered with: https://www.quadratec.com/products/51410_101_07.htm and https://www.quadratec.com/products/17613_1233_07.htm

Also replacing both O2 sensors with NTK since those are both original as well. Be a bit before I can install any of it tho as i'm traveling quite a bit for work. But I have already started removing the current manifold to get a head start on the fun.

That manifold comes up as not for a TJ on Amazon. It says for a Grand Cherokee. Just my 06 TJ possibly?

Different year TJs used different manifolds.

That one will not work with 03-06 models

My whole exhaust from manifold back is getting a lot of pinhole leaks throughout. I'll be watching this with interest.

I replaced mine on my 06. Kept stock exhaust manifold, but the rest was Walker for the mini cats and main cat and magna flow for muffler then 2 1/2" tailpipe out .Also replaced all 02 sensors with ntk.

I replaced the exhaust manifold on the daughters 99xj with the one from Crown. Also painted it with exhaust, header paint from Eastwood.

Do you guys have good experience with Walker? They seem to rot out on me in two years, three at the most. Granted I'm in the Great NY Salt Basin all winter, but this is with the "aluminized" pipe. Only brand I could find for my Nissan. Are there any full length stainless kits out there that you would recommend? Buy once Cry once.

Walker/bosal/parts store brand exhaust are generally junk. They work OK, but really don't last.
Even their 'stainless' part suck.

Have your local exhaust shop do everything from the cat back, but for the pre-cats, use Eastern Catalytic, Walker, Magnaflow, or whichever one you find the cheapest. They are all the same near as I can tell.

Don't have a local muffler shop around me. Everyone is a Midas or similar chain store. It's really sad. Haven't had much for local businesses around here for years. Maybe even decades. Every small business gets choked out by the great state of New York. The hoops the state makes small shops jump through is ridiculous.

My Jeep is a 2005 so I have a different style but same bought it from the same company. Only issue I had is the rear downpipe wouldn't allow me to install my down stream O2 sensor. I just left the plugs in and didn't install the downstream O2 sensors and it's been working great. Also gets better gas mileage than I expected so very happy with it. Even if it doesn't last more than 3-5 years, I'll put another one on. I bet it lasts longer than that.
