@KcTj and @Farmergreg and myself headed south from US60 and North Mineral Mountain Rd to find Box Canyon and the way onto the Elvis trail. One day after the passing of Lisa Marie Presley and it being Friday The 13th we sought to tackle the Elvis trail backwards. Was a awesome day. We saw @KcTj step out of his comfort zone. @Farmergreg horrible navigating. My own poor videotaping. Boy though we had some fun!

I have mastered the poor unedited video clips!

Hit us up. We enjoy hosting out of towners. Hopefully if you run through here it is not in the summer. We are hunkered down cozying up to the A/C vents.

Though summers are a great time to spend in dark smoky dive bars drinking ice cold beer.

Ya, don’t bring the camper and kids during the summer. Can you say 115+ degrees in the shade? And guess what, there’s no shade.

After spending a few years in Twentynine Palms I am familiar with the 1teens hairdryer in your face heat. The unfortunate reality is Im unlikely to pass through during nice weather. A large majority of military to include me/mine are what we call "summer movers" and it really puts a damper on trips through NV, UT, AZ, and almost anywhere else we try to wheel passing through.

This trail looks way cooler than Sedona. I dont think I'll go back to that hippie tourist trap.
