I put on some rear quarter-panel armor last night and now I have an "evap leak (large)" according to my code reader. Does anyone have any idea what I must have drilled into? 2006 Sport, btw.

That would be it. Thank you! I guess I'll go ahead figuring out how to fix or replace that.

I haven't done the left side yet. Does anyone know if there's anything on that side I need to avoid?

Nothing that I’m aware of, maybe just keep an eye out for the tail light wiring.

Glad this thread popped up. Didn’t even think about the potential of damaging the NVLD.

A friend with a JK had some work done in a rear fender well. Next time they went to fill up gas there was a huge leak in the fuel filler hose spilling gas on the ground. The installers hit it with their drill.

You can hook up a smoke machine to find the leak.

Thanks, everyone. From where I was drilling, I'm fairly certain it's the fuel vapor canister. I can probably rent a smoke machine from Autozone or O'Reilly's to confirm. I'll try to remember to update this thread once I'm done with the whole thing, in case it helps anyone else in the future.
