What are you guys using for tire air compressors?

Yes. I used the MORE mounting bracket which places it over the intake manifold. I haven’t had any issues with it, but would mount it inside the cabin if I were to do over.

My younger brother had that in his JKUR and hated it inside. My wife’s JKUR has the ARB single under the spare on a custom mount. I think the twin would fit in the TJ spare bracket. 🧐

I had an ARB single mounted in my JK and hated it. Moved it underwood using a bracket to the brake booster. Can't remember the manufacturer. Far better.

I bought one of these for the lockers in the new build. Probably go with a another dual ARB for tires and may grab a powertank at some point.

I just got rid of my CO2 tank and replaced with a Puma compressor. The CO2 is great for speed, but the price to fill it keeps going up. About 2 years ago I was paying $13 for a 10lb. It cost $26 last time I filled it. With 37's I was getting around 4 or 5 fills out it.

I also have a Viair 400H mounted under the hood which used to be my backup for when the CO2 tank went empty. The Puma is much faster.

I also own a Viair 400P portable unit which I use in other vehicles.

I picked the 400 series over the 450 series with 100% duty cycle because the 400 series is faster than the 450 (greater CFM). My use of the 400 series isn't limited by its duty cycle because I can air up two sets of 35" tires before even approaching Viair's 20 minutes run time recommendation, which is based on running the compressor with a 100 psi load. Since my load is only 30-35 psi and usually less, I do not worry about heat.

I also do not use a tank because I have no need to store air for lockers, air horns, air tools, etc. A tank saves no meaningful time when the task is filling tires, and I am not persuaded by the "need" for stored air for setting tire beads. A ratchet strap or can of ether will do the same thing.

I use a dual for tires and separate one forlockers. I have a air chuck at each tire and a bleeder valve. takes about 4 min to deflate and about 5.5 to inflate (4) 37" tires at once.

It's a pretty slick setup, but you have to somehow pass air through the wheel hub - which presents a challenge. I don't see it on jeeps very often. I assume that's due to the complexity and the weight involved, but you're like 90% of the way there. Its really convenient to not even have to stop moving to air up/down and with a good enough compressor you can drive home on a heafty leak. Great on a Hummer or Unimog - might be over-kill on a TJ.
