Hi

Replacing my radiator and I'm looking for advice on what else to do for preventative maintenance while I'm in there.

Got the radiator, fan, thermostat, and water pump removed - so lots of room to do other stuff.

So far on my list:
- Radiator
- Thermostat and housing
- Coolant temperature sensor
- Top/bottom radiator hoses
- Heater hoses
- Water pump
- Harmonic balancer
- Fan clutch
- Belt, tensioner, idler pulley

Anything else I should take care of?

Thanks!

timing chain, crank shaft

Crank shaft pulley...mine was toast.

You do that and you're down the rabbit hole...at that point you'll need an oil pan gasket. Then you're considering a rear main seal and an oil pump.

I'd check the idler and tension pulleys and belt. Fan clutch. Feel out the bearings on the alternator, PS pump and AC.

If you've got the radiator out it's worth looking at the crank pulley. Cracked rubber is pretty common in our 20+ year old Jeeps. Getting it off is easy with a puller you can borrow from just about any parts store or buy cheap on Amazon. Especially with the radiator out

What radiator did you end up with? Been trying to find OEM and they all seem to be discontinued

Got a Denso. They're a tier 1 OEM, my company is a supplier to them and I've worked directly with them in the past - they take quality very seriously, so I figured the radiator should be at least OEM quality.

If you want pictures of anything specific let me know - it's not installed yet

That's all I need, thanks! So many after market options, wasn't sure who's good and who's not. All the Mopar links I found have been discontinued. Read several threads on here about people replacing the cheap ones over and over.
