Looking for thoughts and opinions on Rough Country high clearance skid plate

The problem for Savvy was that there are no compatible parts between the later Under Armor, Early for manual and any with the 32RH. Every aspect is different between the 32 and other applications. No parts cross-over = no parts at all. The 32 would have to be a distinct and separate product due to all the differences. They could sell you the pan, by the time you get through cutting, hacking and drilling, you could make one.
That's what I had figured. I guess I'll either wind up with the ucf ultra high skid or finally grow a pair and make one for myself... One of those options is much easier than the other!

It sucks that they couldn't justify making the early for manual in smaller runs, but believe me I understand why.

When it comes to getting Savvy stuff in Canada, its a good idea to touch base with Northridge 4x4. They can get stuff to Canada for a reasonable cost. Just sharing for potential future reference.

Looking for thoughts on RC high clearance skid plate. I found a used one for a decent price within my budget. Has anyone installed one is it decent or just garbage? I know I need to have a sye, dc driveshaft adjustable control arms and a body lift with mml. I’m slowly gathering parts to do all of this I’m not looking to do a flat tt just looking to get rid of the stock shovel and gain a bit of clearance.

Thanks in advance
I absolutely love my Teraflex belly-up kit. I have pounded it for years no problem. Slides over everything. You will need one inch body lift, and rear moter mount spacers. Best $500.00 bucks you can spend on your jeep.

well... at the end the conversation turned into saavy vs UCF and now I'm thinking about RC skid plate vs Barnes, I saw a video on youtube for barnes where you need to cut a lot of stuff to get the 2 in drop in a TJ (something about the exahust), so I'm not really thilled about that. Saavy and UFC are good, I know but they are so expensive (almost twice) that I won't even consider them. I already have everything for the tummy tuck, the MML, BL, Rear Upper CAs, DC Driveshaft, no need for SYE since its a rubicon, and all that stuff... only missing part is the skid plate but again.... not sure if Barnes or Rough Country high clearance..... for the rust, there is no issues I can coat them and where I live the rust is not an issue. still not sure about which one should I get.... Barnes looks better but I'm not trying to make a lot of adjustements/welding/cutting for the skid plate..

You should reconsider. If you are going to install a TT get all the room you can (read; Savvy or UCF). Also, you're going to need both upper and lower control arms for a TT.

Savvy if they make one for your application. I run a UCF. If I was to do it over I would do an independent trans mount and bend my own aluminum plate. For reasons Blaine could explain better.
