Check your ground wires for those circuits
More specifically the small grounds that attach to the backside of the grill right above the headlight openings.
Clock spring most likely the culprit.
That one is fine, unless there’s another one hiding
Did you check it or just look at it? Make sure the nut is tight. Even loosen it then retighten. If I think I have a grounding issue sometimes I will use the negative side of jumper cables to ensure I have a solid ground to the battery, meaning negative on battery neg and other end on ground wire stud near headlight.
Took it off, wiped it with iso alcohol, put it back on.
What do you mean about the jumper trick? Can I use a multimeter to narrow this down
I just use jumper cable to run a ground straight to the battery to eliminate the ground as a potential issue.
Ok will do…. But now she won’t start. No click. Popping clutch works. New starter 8 months ago (mopar)
Thinking I have an ignition actuator out. Coincidentally?
I just use jumper cable to run a ground straight to the battery to eliminate the ground as a potential issue.
The ground was coming in good. Black on ground, red on positive bat terminal.
Unplugging the new wiper fluid pump stops the mix up altogether, but the dash beeps once in a while from the issue
unplugging the drivers side headlamp stops the mix up on headlight use
unplugging the drivers side blinker stops the mix up on blinker use
i'm trying to think what i could have screwed up by pulling the wiper reservoir out, or if its also, a coincidence. maybe a new light harness will sort this out.
Black on battery negative, other end black on suspected bad ground.
With the jumper cable? And with the ground still attached to the car? And in hopes that by doing so, all electrical components will act as normal. Right?
Never did that before.
