What did you do to your TJ today?

Worked on trying to track down my shipment from Savvy containing my cable shifter. Amazon said it would be delivered by 25-27th of January. On the 27th it said delayed to be delivered by February 1st through UPS. I talked to someone at Savvy and they said they definitely picked up the package but UPS shows no scans or tracking updates. I reached back out to Savvy and they said if it wasn’t delivered by Monday (yesterday) to let them know. Spoke with them today and they’re going to send me a new package probably by weeks end as they’re scheduled to receive more cable on Thursday. Just wanted to share a positive customer experience as it was my first time dealing with them but it will not be my last.

If you end up with 2 and want to make a forum member a good deal, I'm in!! 😏😁

I’ve since moved out of Arizona. Heat has become more of a necessity.

Ugh, grinding my teeth looking at this picture. It was in the single digits here yesterday, and the TJ puts out SOME heat, but not what it should. If I hadn't added heated seats, it would have been a miserable commute! I've checked the blend door (it's working as it should), and the hoses to/from the core under the hood are plenty hot. First up is a multi-day flush, but knowing my luck, I'm headed for just this situation as well...

The driver side wiper quit working and I opened up the cowl expecting to find the linkage disconnected somewhere. Turns out it was fine. It appears the splined boss the wiper arm attaches to was itself pressed onto a splined shaft but is now spinning on it. My initial thought for repair was JB Weld but I'm not confident that would hold up well. Maybe I'll try drilling and cross pinning it before I buy a replacement linkage.

I didn't do anything on my TJ today but crank up the tunes... that Rockville 400 watt 8" sub I installed yesterday...and rocked out while pulling the transmission on my wife's JK...y pipe bolts were completely rusted solid...at least they were until I turned them to liquid with the oxy acetylene torch. Love how the JK has a cable shifter from the go. Centerforce clutch/heavy flywheel going in soon.

Not often I'm not wrenching on my TJ... swapped the plug wires the other day chasing a vibration...still think it's the short Jeep Cables firewall ground cable running parallel with the main harness.

I think that’d be the best repair option but I don’t have a welder or those skills.

Drilling it out and maybe a roll pin is more serviceable.

Then again a cheap welder and fiberglass blanket from HF fixes this problem and the next.

Mr. Blaine - good product idea here...I can't think we're the only ones.

Bought mine one new tire, turns out the never touched pavement BFG A/T that was adorning the spare tire mount when I bought the jeep isn't actually a "new" tire but actually an 11 year old KO masquerading as a new tire
It got rotated into service last rotation and all of a sudden it was like driving on marbles
